Shield Buff Champions List

In Raid: Shadow Legends, the Shield buff is one of the most useful tools for protecting your team in battle. When a Champion casts a Shield, it adds a temporary layer of HP on top of their health bar, which soaks up incoming damage before it hits their real HP. This extra protection can be the difference between surviving a powerful AoE hit or losing a key Champion early in a fight.

There are several ways to get a Shield buff. Some Champions have active skills that place Shields on themselves or their allies. Others can gain Shields at the start of every turn through passive skills or special conditions.

In addition, the Shield Set (a type of artifact set) also grants a Shield buff to all allies at the start of each round. These different sources make Shield a flexible and valuable buff across many team setups, especially in tough content like Clan Boss, Doom Tower, or Arena.

Shield buffs also work well when combined with other protective buffs like Ally Protection, Block Damage, or Heal-over-time effects. However, they can be countered by enemies who remove or steal buffs, so timing and synergy are important.

AOE Shield Buffs

Champions with AoE (area-of-effect) Shield skills provide protection to the entire team at once. These buffs are especially useful in content where all allies take damage, like Dungeon waves or Arena battles. AoE Shields help your whole team survive longer by spreading the defense evenly.
