Anchorite

Anchorite is an Epic Support champion from the Sacred Order faction in Raid: Shadow Legends. He belongs to the Spirit affinity and plays a strong healing and buffing role for early to mid-game players.

Anchorite is best known for his ability to support the entire team with healing and buff duration boosts, making him a reliable option in many areas of the game.

Anchorite performs well in PvE areas like Clan Boss, Faction Wars, Doom Tower, and certain Dungeons. He shines in 1-Key Ultra Nightmare Clan Boss runs, especially as part of the Wixwell Infinity Shield team.

His healing and buff extension skills give him strong value, but he lacks crowd control or high damage output, which limits his role in Arena or damage-focused lineups. Still, his usefulness in long battles and support-driven content makes him a solid team member.

Table of Contents

Anchorite’s main strength comes from his A3 skill, Sacred Trust, which fully heals one ally and places Increase Critical Rate and Increase Critical Damage buffs on all allies. This combo can raise the team’s overall damage while also saving a weak ally.

His A2, Prayer of Prowess, removes one random debuff from all allies and extends their buffs, making it useful in fights that require buff management. His A1, Warm Embrace, deals damage to all enemies and heals the lowest HP ally based on the damage done, giving him a small but helpful group sustain effect.

Compared to other support champions, Anchorite brings strong healing and buff utility without needing high book investment. He doesn’t have the crowd control of champions like Deacon Armstrong or the raw healing power of Rector Drath, but he blends healing and buff support well.

Anchorite works best in team compositions that need sustained healing and critical damage boosts. He pairs well with damage dealers like Athel or Kael, and other support units who can protect him or extend his buffs further.

Anchorite Best Gear

For gear, Anchorite performs best with Shield sets when used in the 1-Key UNM Clan Boss Wixwell Infinity Shield composition. The idea is to grow two shields—one from Anchorite’s gear and one from Wixwell’s A3. To keep these shields growing, the team needs three buff extenders. Since Anchorite’s A2 and Wixwell’s A2 can extend buffs, you only need one more buff extender champion to complete the Infinity Shield setup.

In PvE content with multiple waves, using a Stun set is helpful. This set gives an 18% chance to place a stun debuff on enemies with each hit, and since Anchorite’s A1 targets all enemies, he has a good chance to control enemies. It’s not his main strength, but it adds extra utility in tough battles.

The Regeneration set is another strong option, especially when using him in long fights. This set heals him by 15% of his max HP every turn, helping him stay alive without needing constant healing from others. Depending on the content and strategy, each gear option provides unique support benefits for your team.

Anchorite Masteries

When it comes to masteries, Anchorite benefits from a mix of offense and defense trees. For offense, take Deadly Precision, Heart of Glory, and Keen Strike for better early damage. Then follow up with Single Out, Life Drinker, and Bring It Down to support his A1’s healing. Wrath of the Slain and Methodical boost his damage over time, and Warmaster gives a chance to deal extra damage in long fights.

On the defense side, start with Tough Skin and Blastproof to increase his survivability. Resurgent and Delay Death reduce damage over time and help him stay longer in battle. Retribution and Deterrence allow him to counterattack when hit, which adds small but useful chances for extra healing or control with his A1.

This mastery setup balances sustain and damage, supporting his role as a durable backline champion. It also boosts his value in both Clan Boss and Doom Tower where long fights are common and healing uptime is critical.

Anchorite Blessings

Anchorite benefits most from blessings that match his support style. Cruelty is a great pick as it reduces enemy defense when he lands hits. Even though Anchorite isn’t a top damage dealer, this still helps his team do more damage, especially in Clan Boss and long PvE fights.

Survival Instinct is another good choice. It partially fills his turn meter every time a debuff is placed or transferred onto him. This blessing can help him take more turns, which is very useful for extending buffs or healing more often. It adds an extra layer of speed without needing high gear stats.

Each blessing offers its own type of advantage depending on your team strategy. Cruelty boosts team damage, while Survival Instinct keeps Anchorite active in battle. Picking the right one depends on whether you want more support turns or better damage for your team.

How to Get Anchorite

Anchorite was released in August 2022 as part of Patch 5.80 during the Lonatharil Champion Fusion Fragment Event. During this event, players needed to collect his fragments by completing specific event and tournament challenges. Once enough fragments were collected, they could summon Anchorite directly without using shards.

If you missed the fusion event, Anchorite is still obtainable from shards. He can be pulled from Ancient Shards, Primal Shards, and Sacred Shards. As an Epic champion, his chances are higher in Sacred Shards, but random pulls are never guaranteed.

While Anchorite isn’t a top-tier Epic in terms of popularity, his performance in certain setups like the 1-Key UNM Clan Boss makes him worth holding onto if you pull him. He may not be flashy, but his steady support and team buffs are valuable in many battles, especially for early and mid-game players.

If you’re building a support-based team and need a healer who can also boost your damage output, Anchorite is a great option to have in your collection. His skills offer both safety and offensive utility, making him a dependable choice in many team compositions.
