Thor Faehammer is a Legendary Attack champion from the Barbarians faction in Raid: Shadow Legends. He brings explosive Magic Affinity power and a direct, aggressive playstyle.
Known for his ability to hit all enemies hard and stack damage over time, Thor is a top-tier damage dealer who becomes more dangerous the longer he fights. With skills that ignore key buffs and weaken enemy defenses, he’s built to crush teams quickly in both PvE and PvP.

In battle, Thor Faehammer stands out in content where fast AoE damage and enemy control are key. He shines in Arena offense, where ignoring Unkillable and Block Damage can decide the match. He also fits well in Faction Wars and campaign farming, especially with his wave-clearing skills.
However, he’s less effective against bosses due to his main AoE skill not working fully on them. Still, his high damage potential and control effects make him a strong pick in many team setups.

Thor’s most dangerous skill is Fulminous Ricochet, an AoE attack that grows stronger with each bounce and ignores Block Damage and Unkillable, giving him a big edge in PvP. Hammer of Heaven is another powerful AoE that boosts his own attack and crit damage before applying Decrease SPD and stacking permanent RES reduction.
His passive, Sky Rupture, builds Thunder stacks each time he deals damage. Once it hits 10 stacks, he unleashes a full AoE Stun, which can turn the tide in long fights. His A1 also reduces Turn Meter, making him useful even with his basic attacks.
Compared to other damage dealers like Ninja or Cupidus, Thor has a more aggressive and control-heavy style. Ninja brings better boss damage with HP burns, while Cupidus works better in long team fights. Thor’s ability to ignore defensive buffs and his Thunder stack mechanic set him apart. He’s best used with support champions who boost Turn Meter or apply debuffs to help his passive and Hammer of Heaven perform even better.

Thor Faehammer Best Gear
For gear, Savage is a strong option for Thor Faehammer. This 4-piece set allows him to ignore 25% of enemy DEF, which increases his AoE damage, especially in Arena and dungeon waves. It helps him hit harder, even against enemies with high defense stats.
Lethal is another top choice. Like Savage, it ignores 25% of DEF but also gives him a 10% boost in Crit Rate. This bonus makes it easier to build around Crit Damage and reach 100% Crit Rate without sacrificing too many stats. Lethal is especially useful if you’re pushing him into both PvP and PvE roles.
Cruel gear also works well as a supporting set. It boosts ATK by 15% and adds a 5% DEF ignore. It’s ideal when paired with Savage or Lethal to increase damage even more.

Thor Faehammer Masteries
When it comes to masteries, Thor Faehammer benefits most from Methodical and Warmaster in the Offense tree. Methodical increases damage the longer the fight goes, syncing well with his Thunder stacks. Warmaster adds extra damage, especially helpful in longer PvE content like Faction Wars or Doom Tower waves.
For more PvP-focused builds, Helmsmasher replaces Warmaster to push through enemy defenses more often. Kill Streak boosts damage after kills, which helps in Arena fights. On the Defense side, Delay Death and Retribution offer better survivability and a chance to counterattack when hit.
In the Support tree, Lore of Steel is a solid pick to boost set bonuses from gear like Cruel or Lethal. Master Hexer extends debuffs like Decrease SPD, making Thor more useful when controlling enemies across waves.

Thor Faehammer Blessings
Crushing Rend is a powerful blessing for Thor Faehammer. It lets him ignore a portion of the enemy’s defense based on their level, which stacks well with his gear and skill effects. This is great for Arena, where defense-based champions are common.
Nature’s Wrath is another good blessing. It boosts Thor’s damage for each debuff he places, like Decrease SPD or the RES reduction from his A3. This blessing improves his wave-clearing and helps push more damage in PvE and PvP.
Crushing Rend becomes the better choice at level 6 awakening, as it fully ignores enemy defense based on their level once per round. This makes it extremely strong for PvP, especially against high-defense teams in Arena. Nature’s Wrath is still useful in longer PvE fights where Thor can place multiple debuffs, but if you’ve fully awakened him, Crushing Rend gives more consistent value and higher burst damage.

How to Get Thor Faehammer
Thor Faehammer was introduced during the 2024 Asgard Divide Event, alongside Loki the Deceiver, Freyja Fateweaver, and Odin Faefather. He was available through a special champion fusion event where players needed to collect 100 fragments of Dyana Gloompiercer from events and tournaments.
That event has now ended, so new players won’t be able to get Thor through the same method. However, he is still available through regular shard pulls. If you’re lucky, you can summon him from Ancient Shards, Sacred Shards, or Primal Shards.
While the chances of pulling a specific Legendary are low, it’s still possible over time. Save your shards for boosted summon events to improve your odds. Even though the fusion is over, Thor Faehammer remains one of the stronger damage dealers you can hope to add to your account.
