Gnut is a powerful Legendary Defense champion from the Dwarves faction, known for his Spirit affinity and strong performance in long battles. Built around defense and consistent multi-hit attacks, Gnut is especially effective against bosses.
His skills focus on reducing enemy Turn Meter, applying debuffs, and dealing damage based on both his defense and the enemy’s max HP. He fits well in teams that need durability and steady damage output.

Gnut shines when used in Fire Knight’s Castle, where his multi-hits and Turn Meter control are extremely valuable. He also performs well in Faction Wars and Doom Tower waves.
In Arena, he can help weaken enemy teams and counterattack with full damage, though he needs proper setup to avoid being too slow. His biggest drawback is the need for high accuracy and speed to fully benefit from his debuffs and Turn Meter control.

Table of Contents
Gnut’s main strength comes from his ability to hit multiple times and manipulate Turn Meter.
His A1, Dwarven Might, attacks three times with a chance to either reduce Turn Meter or apply Freeze if the reduction fails. His A2, Fury of the King, is an AoE attack that applies Decrease ATK and Weaken debuffs to all enemies, while also giving him a Counterattack buff. His A3, Blessed Bash, is another triple-hit skill that reduces the enemy’s DEF and heals him based on damage dealt. His passive, No Holding Back, boosts his counterattack damage to 100%, which makes him even more dangerous during long fights.
Compared to other Max HP damage dealers like Acrizia, Husk, or Royal Guard, Gnut stands out with his consistent performance and utility. His A3, Blessed Bash, hits three times and has only a 3-turn cooldown, giving him a reliable source of high damage against bosses. He fits best in teams that can boost his speed and accuracy, especially in dungeons where Turn Meter control and long fights are key.

Gnut Best Gear
For gear, Relentless is one of the top choices for Gnut. It gives him an 18% chance to take an extra turn after his actions, allowing him to cycle his skills faster and apply more debuffs or healing. This set works especially well with his A2 and A3 since extra turns mean more damage, more healing, and more crowd control.
Reflex is another solid option. It gives a 40% chance to reduce a random skill cooldown, helping him use his A3 and A2 skills more often. This boosts his consistency in long battles and makes him more reliable, especially in PvE content where timing and cooldowns matter a lot.
Perception is a great support option, increasing both Accuracy and Speed. This helps Gnut land his debuffs more reliably while staying fast enough to keep up with dungeon or Doom Tower runs. Depending on your team’s needs, you can mix and match these sets to focus more on cooldowns, extra turns, or higher debuff success.

Gnut Masteries
For masteries, PvE players should pick Kill Streak and Giant Slayer in the Offense tree. These help boost Gnut’s damage, especially against bosses. Giant Slayer works well with his triple-hit skills, giving extra damage based on the enemy’s max HP. In the Support tree, Lore of Steel improves stats from gear sets, while Master Hexer gives his debuffs a chance to last longer.
For PvP content, it’s better to use Kill Streak and Helmsmasher in the Offense tree to improve his burst potential. In the Defense tree, Delay Death and Cycle of Revenge help him survive longer and take more turns when allies are hit. This setup makes him tougher and more useful in slower, tanky Arena teams.

Gnut Blessings
When it comes to blessings, Crushing Rend is a good choice for Gnut. It allows him to ignore part of the enemy’s defense based on their level, helping him deal more damage against high-defense champions. It becomes more useful as Gnut reaches higher awakening levels.
Soul Reap is useful for both PvE and PvP. It creates a Reaper that can finish off enemies once their HP is low, and the Reaper’s attack ignores defense and damage reduction. This blessing helps Gnut secure kills, especially in Arena or boss fights where enemies hang on with low health.
Phantom Touch is mainly useful for Gnut in the Fire Knight dungeon, not for extra damage, but for helping to break the boss’s shield. Since the Fire Knight’s shield drops after taking multiple hits, the extra hit chance from Phantom Touch works well with Gnut’s multi-hit abilities, making it easier to bring the shield down faster.

How to Get Gnut
Gnut was released as a limited-time fusion champion in July 2023. Players could fuse him during the event from July 3 to July 17, using a mix of rare and epic champions that were available during that time. This event could only be completed once, and there has been no repeat so far.
If you missed the fusion, the only current way to get Gnut is through shards. He is available from Ancient, Sacred, and Primal Shards, though the chance is very low because he is a non-void Legendary. Pulling him requires luck or a targeted summon event where he’s featured.
Because of his strong performance in Fire Knight and other dungeons, Gnut remains a wanted champion even after his fusion ended. Players hoping to get him now will need to save shards for special events or rely on luck during 2x or 10x summons. Until then, keep an eye on future events that may give a second chance.
