Lysanthir Beastbane

Lysanthir Beastbane is a Legendary Defense champion from the High Elves faction in Raid: Shadow Legends. With Spirit affinity and a strong defensive build, Lysanthir was designed to survive long fights while steadily breaking down enemies. Known as a Hydra specialist, he uses debuffs and self-buffs to control the flow of battle. His playstyle mixes survivability with growing offensive power, making him a reliable pick for teams that focus on outlasting the enemy.

In PvE, Lysanthir shows great value in Hydra battles thanks to his ability to place Hex, Decrease SPD, and Weaken debuffs. He also finds use in Faction Wars and some Dungeon runs, especially where survival and debuffing are important. In PvP, he can be situational. His strength lies in defense-based damage and ignoring protection buffs, but he may struggle against very fast or high-burst teams. His kit shines the most when fights drag on, giving him time to build up his buffs and damage. Moving forward, his skills are key to understanding how to get the best out of him.

Table of Contents

Lysanthir’s standout abilities include Runed Snares and Survivalist Supreme. Runed Snares attacks all enemies twice and places Decrease SPD and Weaken debuffs, making it perfect for weakening bosses and enemy teams. If the target is already under Hex from his Echobolt skill, the debuffs land even before the attack, helping with crowd control. His passive, Survivalist Supreme, lets him ignore Life Barrier and Ally Protection buffs while gaining more DEF for each active buff on himself. This combination of debuffing and scaling defense makes him a nightmare to bring down once he gets rolling.

Compared to champions like Mad Hatter, Lysanthir Beastbane falls a little short when it comes to spreading Hex debuffs. While Lysanthir can only place Hex on a single enemy, Mad Hatter attacks all enemies and places Hex across the entire team at once. This makes Mad Hatter a better choice when you need to apply Hex quickly to multiple targets, especially in battles like Hydra or Arena. Lysanthir still brings strong value with his other debuffs and defense-based damage, but his Hex application is more focused on single-target control.

Lysanthir Beastbane Best Gear

For gear, Savage artifacts are one of the best choices for Lysanthir Beastbane. Savage grants a 25% Ignore DEF bonus, making his attacks hit much harder, especially when combined with his passive skills. It helps him deal meaningful damage even against tanky enemies.

Perception sets are another strong option. They boost his Accuracy and Speed, which are important for landing Hex, Decrease SPD, and Weaken debuffs. The extra Speed also helps him cycle through his skills faster, making him more effective over the course of a fight.

Lysanthir Beastbane Masteries

When it comes to masteries, for general PvE content, Warmaster is the go-to choice in the Offense tree. It helps Lysanthir deal consistent bonus damage, which is especially valuable against bosses like those in Hydra. In the Support tree, masteries like Pinpoint Accuracy, Swarm Smiter, and Master Hexer help him land and extend his important debuffs more reliably.

For PvP, his masteries shift slightly. Helmsmasher becomes the preferred choice for offense because of its ability to ignore a large portion of enemy Defense, making his hits more dangerous against tough Arena teams. In the Defense tree, Delay Death and Retribution improve his survivability and give him more chances to strike back after taking damage.

Lysanthir Beastbane Blessings

Choosing the right blessing for Lysanthir Beastbane can make a big difference in his performance. Nature’s Wrath fits perfectly for PvE, boosting his damage for every debuff he places. Since his skills naturally stack debuffs like Hex, Decrease SPD, and Weaken, he gets a lot of value from this blessing.

Crushing Rend is another strong blessing for PvE content. It allows Lysanthir to ignore a portion of the enemy’s Defense based on their level. This helps him deal more consistent damage against tough dungeon bosses and high-defense enemies in long fights. It is a great choice for players who want to maximize his damage output in areas like Hydra or Doom Tower.

Lightning Cage is a better option for Arena battles. It gives protection to his buffs by placing Lightning Orbs, which prevent buffs from being removed, stolen, or transferred. Once enough Lightning Orbs stack up, he also deals bonus damage based on the enemy’s Max HP. This makes Lysanthir harder to kill and adds extra pressure during PvP fights, helping him stay useful throughout the battle.

How to Get Lysanthir Beastbane

Lysanthir Beastbane was introduced as a Champion Fusion event in April 2025. To summon him during the event, players needed to collect and fuse four copies of Yuzan the Marooned. Each Yuzan had to be leveled and ascended, which required a lot of resources and effort.

Since the fusion event has ended, the only way to get Lysanthir Beastbane now is by pulling him from Ancient, Sacred, or Legendary Shards. Unfortunately, there is no direct method to target him specifically, so players will need some luck.

Players who missed the fusion might have to wait for a future event where old fusion champions sometimes return. Until then, Lysanthir remains a rare and valuable addition for anyone lucky enough to summon him.
